Choices Programme 

DCUK are offering a free six week programme to parents of deaf children aged between 0 and 4 years of age. The course is designed to help parents to navigate and explore the communication and language choices that are available.

 

You will be able to practice basic skills in Cued Speech and learn some signs, the course will also include:

 

• Understanding technology such as hearing aids and implants.

• Understanding the importance of early language development

• Understanding your child’s audiogram At the end of the course you will be better able to make an informed decision about how to best meet the individual needs of your child.
